QuIP training award

Bath SDR is pleased to be launching an award scheme to enable greater access to QuIP training and linked software, Causal Map. We propose to fund a limited number of free places for applicants who wish to attend one of our online QuIP Lead Evaluator courses, and subject to successful completion of an accreditation assignment at the end of the training they would also be eligible for a free one year Standard subscription to Causal Map for the purposes of analysing QuIP data.

We intend for these awards to be used by evaluators who have a practical application in mind, so applications for this offer will require information about a study where you think QuIP could be used to good effect. We suggest that you read at least one of the following introductions to QuIP before applying to ensure that your planned study is a good fit.

We are open to applications from around the world, but will prioritise applicants from low income countries and organisations as this is about improving accessibility to those who would otherwise be excluded on the basis of cost. Please note that the training course and training materials are currently only available in English. You can find translated guidelines in French, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil) (Mozambique) on our website, but we are not able to offer the live course in any other language at present.

We will fund as many good applications as we can afford from our own surplus; once this pot is used up we will suspend applications until next year when we hope to be able to offer a similar scheme. We are a non-profit organisation and have a mission to use surplus income to further develop QuIP and associated materials, and to help promote increased access to the approach and associated tools.

Please complete this application form to apply for a free or subsidised place on a QuIP Lead Evaluator Course. This award is subject to the consideration of the Bath SDR and Causal Map teams, and there are limits on the number of awards available – please be aware of this before applying.
